Part of the power of the blogosphere is instaneous feedback and dialogue about the ideas, events and activity that impact our consciousness, our writing and the "conversation."
This power of the Internet is readily apparent to me as I read mainstream wine magazines and journals and see an item that I blogged about two months prior-not even old news, really, it's news that passed from top-of-mind consciousness weeks ago in an arbitrary decision path of usefulness-for me and thousands of others.
News of citizen journalism is having a real, material impact on the way information is covered, vetted and ultimately consumed. These RSS feeds are some of the sources of information I use to stay current within the jetstream of the wine blogosphere and my local community.
